Recently

I know it's odd that I am doing 2 blogs tonight and one just yesterday, but the boys are gone to Albany for the weekend to visit family.  I AM HOME ALONE!!!  I miss Chris and Luke so much, but I am loving the time to catch up and watch bad TV.

Anyway, I was just going to do a few Luke updates for family.  We have teeth!!!!  Luke was terribly fussy over Labor Day weekend so I felt his gums and I could feel the little sharp pecks.  Poor baby!  They came in at the same time, and I know it hurt.  It really is a horrible feeling when you know your baby is uncomfortable and in pain.  I just tell myself that we all went through it and don't remember so neither will he.

I'm going to miss his gummy smile, but how cute are those two teeth?

Luke is doing great rolling over from front to back.  He has figured out that he can see a lot more when he's sitting up, so that's pretty much the only way he will be these days.  He rarely will play for long periods of time on his back anymore.  He likes to be up and in the action.  He gets stronger each day.  He tries so hard to sit up on his own and crawl.  He's ready!  I'm just not sure Mom and Dad are yet.  Ready or not, it's coming.  He amazes me more and more each day as he learns and grows.  Watching him become his own little self is such a wonderful blessing we have been given.  We are so thankful and proud of the baby/person he is.  Here are a few photos taken recently.
