6 Months

Our Little Foot is a little over 6 months now and wearing 12 month clothing!  He's sitting up on his own without any support and trying his best to get into the crawling position from there.  He's doing really well with his hands and perfecting his grasp on things.  It's so amazing to watch him learn and become stronger as the weeks fly by.  Our friend, Katie, is a Pediatric PT so when she visits she gives us a free exam.  She was just here this weekend, and he's looking good!

He's loving bath time more.  We've added some bath toys and he loves it.  He's getting so heavy that it's hard to bathe him the way we have been.  Pretty soon we're going to do the Pinterest trick and put him in a laundry basket in the bath so he won't fall over :)

Luke is doing GREAT with his food these days.  He opens his mouth like a little bird waiting for a "bite bite."  So far, he'll eat anything we give him.  He loves sweet potatoes and any fruit we' will shovel in his mouth.  He's not doing so well with the sippy cup, but I'm telling myself it's a little early for that. He has no interest in holding his own bottle whatsoever.  I'm sure he could do it if he wanted to, but he will not even try.  I guess I wouldn't either if someone would feed me.

Right now, Luke loves watching Kipper and Elmo.  He will watch Clifford a good bit too.  By watch, I mean smile at the TV for about 10 seconds, play for a little bit, and look at the TV and smile again!  I tell myself he enjoys them, b/c he doesn't always smile and get excited when other shows come on.  His favorite thing now is his elephant humidifier.  He smiles so big and shakes all over with excitement when we walk him up to it.  We call him "Humie" around here!
