Just Swinging & Hair

Look at that sweet face below.  PURE JOY!!!  Could that baby be any happier?!?!?!  We have to thank our sweet neighbors, the Smiths, for allowing us to use Mason's swing from time to time.  Luke just loves it, as you can see.  Getting a swing put up at our house is on the TO-DO list for sure.  These pictures make me so excited for spring time and playing outside with our little man.  If these pics are any indication of how much fun he's going to have, it's going to be a great summer.

That last picture brings me to my next topic.  Luke's hair.  People have always loved Luke's hair until lately.  So MANY people comment on it everywhere we go.  I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "I think it's about time for a haircut!" Yes!  Yes, it is time for a hair cut.  It really is.  His hair is out of control, but I CANNOT DO IT!!!  It's too sad.  I know that when I cut his hair, he will never look like my baby again.  Being the "big" baby that he is, he already looks so much like a toddler.  I just can't do it yet.  Once that hair is cut and styled in a little boy way, the baby look is gone.  Forever.  (In all fairness, I do have plenty of other moms who tell me not to cut it until after the first year)  With that said, or typed rather, be patient with me.  I will cut his hair once he turns one, maybe!

I have to end this blog with a funny quote from Chris.  We were discussing Luke's hair and what style will work best for him, and Chris says, "They're going to have to bring in the actual John Frieda to do anything with it."  HAHAHA!  It made me laugh.
In the art of full disclosure, Chris actually said "Paul Mitchell," but I decided he was way too outdated for the story.  Really, Paul Mitchell???
