I feel like we are so busy these days. Sometimes our weekends are so full of fun things, but so very exhausting. Lately, we have been doing so much fun stuff with our little guy and keep him so busy on the weekends. Luckily, his Mimi comes to our house to watch him during the week so Luke is able to just have "quiet" play and stay on schedule throughout the week. It's great, b/c that allows us to be social bees during the weekends.
We recently took Luke's bottle away and transitioned to the sippy cup. He was NOT a happy baby the first 2 mornings and nights, but he has adapted well and using his sippy cup like a pro. I was so nervous about it and got myself so worked up, but sweet Luke did wonderfully. I'm so proud of that little monkey. He is so easy going. He's doing really well with his "bite bites." Eating more and more each day and adding to his lists of favorites. He still loves his goldfish and yogurt bites :)
Luke went to his first swim lesson this past Saturday. He did great and really enjoyed the water. Chris insisted he be the parent in the water with Luke, which I appreciate. The two of them were so ADORABLE in the pool together. I got a lot of good pics. My favorite is fuzzy b/c the camera lens fogged up in the heated pool room, but it's still precious.
We have been playing with our neighbors, the Smiths and Moores, a lot this Spring. They are the cutest boys! I love them dearly. Our neighborhood Mom's Club also hosted an Easter egg hunt. The boys had a great time. Luke, of course, is too young for the hunting part but he loved the Ashford Park playground. He walked with a push car all over the place. We are still waiting on him to walk. He's given us 3-4 steps before, but doesn't seem that interested in walking. It will come soon, and I'm sure it will be a game changer. Yikes!
