We recently took out little Lukester to the beach for the first time. It was not great, haha! I had such high expectations of him toddling around in the sand and playing with his buckets and shovels. Not our kiddo. I never really thought of it going any other way, but it did :) He didn't sleep well, so he was cranky a lot of the time. He didn't love the sand, and couldn't walk on it very well. All in all it was a good trip, but we'll probably wait and give it another try next year!!! Here are a few pics we got of the trip.

I remember having such high expectations with Noah the first time. He HATED every minute of it. Hated the sand. Hated the ocean. Hated being off schedule. Loved the pool. He still prefers the pool over the beach. But, Charlie loved the beach. And Stella will be going for the first time this year, so we will see.
