We started rice cereal this past weekend. Right now, it's 100% practice so we're just having fun. Out of the 30 or so bites he's been offered over the past few days, he's probably swallowed 3 good bites. This weekend we'll add some oat cereal and then pears, squash, and so on. I'm sure once we're to the fruit he'll be loving it. We've also introduced the sippy cup. It seems so young to do this, doesn't it? He will chew on the spout of it, but doesn't really understand that he needs to suck on it to get the milk out.
Luke is also rolling a little now. He's a pro at going from his tummy to his back. The past two mornings, once he is awake and jabbering, he can roll to his tummy but can't get back to his back. I'm just not read for my baby to be rolling to his tummy, BUT I have to say I'm sooooo excited about him sleeping with his little butt in the air. I've heard about it, and I can't wait to see it on the monitor. There is nothing cuter than a chubby baby butt in jammies!
Here are a few pics of Luke with his first solids and a few on his 4 month birthday...
"You're not supposed to photograph me during playtime, Mommy!"
