First, I want to show off our new desk. Chris has had this idea since the first day we bought the house. He's been wanting the new (well it's not really new anymore) 27" screen MAC that's out now. We wanted to buy it before Luke was born, but really didn't have a good place to put it, which brings us to our new desk. I have to give Chris all the credit. Not only did he do our desk, he added the matching tile back splash that we recently did in our kitchen. He did a great job and now I can't imagine our kitchen area without it. The room is a work in progress. We just had a company out to make our fireplace functional again, so we're looking forward to using that in the same room this winter. Eventually, it will have a TV, some sitting, and a small table for Luke. So, it will be our little house's version of a "playroom." I'm aware that most playrooms don't have a fireplace, a TV, and a computer all in one area, but these are the joys of the little 3 bed-2 bath houses in Atlanta! Nonetheless, I'm proud of Chris' work and our little house :) Here are some photos:

DIY Desk
I'm finally getting around to updating the blog a little bit. We've had so much going on and I have so many pictures to share. I hope to catch you all up this weekend when I will have the house all to myself!!
